Whilst contemplating my working night (after a working day) I think of the adage that “Hard work never killed anybody”. Then I think, yes, it has. Millions in fact.
I thought the adage was “A little hard…”? Mostly used in a diplomatic manner directly towards someone who seems to be allergic to work of any form. Add exasperated tone to taste.
